At the drop of the green third starting Tim McCreadie pulls alongside outside polesitter
Rick Eckert and battled several laps for the second spot as Matt Miller powers away from the pack with the lead. Once McCreadie cleared Eckert then Chub Frank began to work the orange 24 and Dave Hess from Waterford PA joins in the action.

Making the jump from Dirt Modifieds to the Late Models, # 91 Ricky Elliott from Seaford Delaware tests his skills against Arkansas best and current points leader, Billy Moyer

Clint Smith challenges Dave Hess in a thrilling side by side battle for the dominate 44 before clipping a uke tire and damaging his front suspension near the halfway mark. Smith fell off the pace but finished the event on the lead lap. Eddie Carrier Jr. brought the Carl Grover #28 machine to life at Wayne County and finished just behind Dale McDowell.

Wayne Maffett Jr. gets a nose under Mike Balzano and thats all it took as Maffett easily completed the pass. Balzano finished 14th, Maffett in 12th !

Ryan Markham and Charlie Duncan showed the travelers who they have to beat when they come to Wayne County Speedway. The races only caution waved when Markhams fender came off his car but the 5m never missed a beat to finish a WoO career best of sixth place while Duncan recorded his best ever WoO finish in ninth over Billy Moyer. Fantastic !

Meanwhile there was absolutely no shorage of action anywhere on the track as Steve Shaver tried hard to keep up with Dale McDowell, Tim McCreadie takes the lead from Matt Miller, a classic battle between Steve Francis and Donnie Moran, and the Won11 tries to hold off a hard charging Moran. The action was incredible as both high and low grooves worked.

As the final laps drew near, Rick Eckert began picking off cars, first Ricky Elliott then Dave Hess. Another few laps and the Raye Vest #24 may have challenged Miller and McCreadie for the top spots but settled in to finish fourth. Donnie Moran and Mike Balzano clicked off the final laps racing side by side, this duo worth the price of admission alone. Moran finished one spot ahead of Balzano, a respectable 13th and 14th place. Ryan Markham was one of the first to run the topside, despite front end damage the 5m held off Darrell Lanigan to come home in sixth place against the nations best.
