Brian is a born racer and has competed in Pure Stocks and Mini Stocks with some success for the past 7 years. This Mazda MX6 is dialed in and hooked to the track and just may be the car that will land the Dawson Racing Team in Winners Circle to claim that first career feature win.
This racing team is definately a famliy operation and consists of wife Rita who is a great all around race fan, and children Brooke and Allyson. Congratulations are in order as everyone is looking ahead to October as the date a new crew chief is expected to arrive !
Brian is not one to shy away from the high speeds and tough competition that Wayne County Speedway has to offer, but Team 31c prefers to call Lakeville Speedway home where he has eight 'A' Main starts to date in 2005 with a best finish of second behind his cousin, Dale Beckett. The door to door - bumper to bumper action the competition at Lakeville provides suits Dawsons driving style and he challenges other area mini stock drivers to a race on his home turf anytime !
