April 18, 2008 - Opening day featuring the IRS Late Models at Hilltop, but my how quickly things will sour for the extremely popular dirt track located in Millersburg Ohio. After the completion of a very successful sophomore season why would anyone mess with what is obviously working while needed improvements were pretty much ignored.
A sure sign this was the beginning of the end. After investing two years trying to point this race track in the right direction, today it became clear this would be my last days on the Hill. Sorry, just wasn't inspired to take great pictures, but here are my last days on the Hill.

Check it out, forty of the best Late Models around. Four heat races and two B Mains were needed to thin the crowd down to 24 starters and a few surprises ended up on the trailer, like David Scott and Devin Friese for example, plus Corey Conley and Dave Hornikel senselessly get crashed out of their heat. Wayne Chinn laid back for a provisional, Ryan Markham never lays back but still had to rely on a provisional but both would race for a top ten in the feature.
